Hi,
1) Yes, the admission in designing courses will be on the basis of the score in the institute's entrance exam and interview thereafter.
2) Some of the entrances are :
-Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is an countrywide examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology
