    Himachal Pradesh University conducts entrance exam for some of the courses. National-level entrance exams are accepted for Medical courses. Below are the entrance exam accepted for top HPU programmes:

    Admission to most of the undergraduate courses is merit-based, but for some courses require a valid score of the entrance exams for respective courses. But for postgraduate courses, students need to qualify the respective entrance exams with a valid score. The entrance exams accepted by HPU include JEE Main, HPCET, MAT, CAT, CMAT, HPCET and HPU MAT, among others.
