Which entrance exams can a final year student of civil engineering appear for to get government or semi-government jobs?

If you want to apply for government or semi-government jobs, then you have to give GATE exam. Today most of the government or semi government companies are hiring candidates through GATE only. Some companies have vacancies without GATE also.
