So first you have to clear JEE mains so as to sit in JEE advanced (for further details check jee adv website) now depending on your jee advanced rank colleges are alloted. As bombay is considered to be most favorite ;) its cutoff is higher than others. Cutoff varies from branch to branch for ex high
