You definitely need to Take JEE after your 12th class, the exam consists of 2 phases now, mains and advance. you can pursue Aero Engg if you get good enough score. it's a very good branch and a great amalgam of Mechanical and space sciences. All the best buddy.

You can appear for Jee Advanced for admission in Aerospace at IITs apart from that you can also think of IIST Thiruvananthapuram in kerala as it is solely dedicated to the study and research of Outer space and also It is mentored by ISRO.

The exams in which you have to appear after 12th for pursuing aerospace engineering are IIT JEE exams, UPSEE, etc. You may refer private colleges such as SRM Chennai, VIT Vellore, LPU, etc.
You may also focus on Indraprastha University examination as some of the IPU colleges also consist of aerospace engineering.

There are no separate entrance exam for aeronautical engineering. To get admission in top engineering colleges like IITs, NITs, GFTIs and also other engineering colleges, you have to give entrance exam. In India there is JEE Mains a national level exam. You can take admission in various colleges depending upon your score in JEE Mains. If you want to go in IITs you have to qualify JEE Mains and take JEE Advanced and qualify in that and score well. Also there are various State level entrance exams for respective states in India. Also there are entrance exam for other top private engineering colleges. Check out this link for top engineeri
