Which exam do I need to take in order to pursue Ph.D in English literature abroad?

Different countries have different requirements. You may not have to take any exams except the IELTS. What is most important is how you first co-ordinate with the university /department heads or research supervisors. Even before applying you have to contact various universities offering research work in English literature, you have to share your research interest and proposal, prior publications etc. And be accepted by them. Find out about funding and scholarship options and proceed accordingly. -
