Which exam is better gate or ielts?

I am 3rd year computer engg student.ielts or gate? which exam should i prefer?

If you wish to migrate to forein country for jos, PG diploma and degree, IELTS will only help. For India it is GATE.

Both have different exam , GATE is for get admission in Mtech t Ph.D in India and other exam is for get admission in abroad , and if you can work hard then no exam is tough , in every exam you have to work hard to clear them with good score

Meghna, Both are good. But IELTS is a language proviciency test and gate is entance model. You can go for both if you want.
