    Hi Lalji!
    State PSCs appoint you to a larger number of job categories (including Teaching jobs, and other State Government Department / Ministry jobs), whereas, SSC CGL posts are related to Central Government jobs only. Having said this, Central Government jobs are always more prestigious than State Government jobs. However, the consideration should be the work area that you wish to work in for your life. Only make your exam decisions on this basis and not on the basis of prestige.     SSC provides the central government jobs and state civil service exams provides administrative jobs in state government.

    State PSC is better because it gives you a job near your home town and secondly in your home town spent money is less. State PSC gives a respectful government job.
