    The level of difficulty of the exam is the same in both the KPGCET and the KMAT. The PGCET is conducted by KEA for MBA and other postgraduate courses, whereas the KMAT is for MCA and MBA courses in private colleges.
    1. Due to eligibility requirements, competition for KMAT is higher than for PG CET because it is a national-level exam.
    2. This leads to a higher score requirement at top colleges accepting KMAT. Unlike with PGCET, where you are assigned a college based on rank.

    They both are not the same they are different entrance exams, PGCET is a state-level entrance exam for MBA and KMAT is an all-India exam that takes place in a few cities and it is for all candidates across India.
