The level of difficulty of the exam is the same in both the KPGCET and the KMAT. The PGCET is conducted by KEA for MBA and other postgraduate courses, whereas the KMAT is for MCA and MBA courses in private colleges. 1. Due to eligibility requirements, competition for KMAT is higher than for PG CET

They both are not the same they are different entrance exams, PGCET is a state-level entrance exam for MBA and KMAT is an all-India exam that takes place in a few cities and it is for all candidates across India.
