To specialise in Robotics, mechanical engineers will have slight edge since around 70% of robotics can be classified to belong to mechanical engineering stream. Control of the Robot is a subject matter of electronics engineering.

Hello Yash,
BS degree in robotics engineering, computer engineering, electro-mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering allows graduates to work in robotics engineering. A Master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is necessary for many advanced and managerial positions.
Good luck.
Thank you. -
