    Finance jobs pay better than marketing jobs but you must be ready to work for long hours.

    Sales is your cup of tea or core finance job (investment banking, asset management and commercial bank manager) or financial sales (target sales of insurance, mutual fund and securities) and then decide.
  • It depends on college to college. Some colleges have good placements of Marketing whereas some have about Finance.

    MBA in Finance has more job opportunities in areas such as banks, investment and portfolio management firms, accounts departments of companies etc. MBA in Marketing shows slightly better salary trends as compared to MBA in Finance. I have done my MBA from LPU and it has helped me grow professionally and also helped in providing exposure in terms of placements, internship, workshops, guest lectures etc. So, surely it a better University to join.     Before getting admission into MBA course, often a candidate comes across a choice to pick one MBA specialisations that would serve as the foundation for his/her career growth. There are several specialisations which being offered by the B-schools in India and globally. However, the decision is yours to pick and choose one MBA specialisations among many at the end of the day! Among all the top specialisations that are high in demand, MBA in Marketing and MBA in HR are two specialisations that are quite financially rewarding for the MBA aspirants.     Hi shubham, giving more emphasis to placement marketing has more scope and more companies because the demand for this specialization is quite high but what is more important is where exactly your interest lies because it is very easy to get a job but quite difficult to manage the same if you are not interested to do it. So firstly, make your mind clear that what is your area of interest, is it marketing or finance and choose it. Finance sector will demand more employees especially after this pandemic. So take the decision wisely. All the best.
