Which field has a better scope, architecture or civil engineering?

Civil engineering and architecture are different fields that cannot be compared as such. Architecture is more of creativity and civil is the application part of that creativity. So, opt for a field in which you have a keen interest. Though in terms of scope in the government sector, I would prefer Civil engineering over architecture as per the current scenario.

7 years agoIn my opinion, civil engineering has more opportunities as compared to architecture because later one is a niche area and opportunities available are less as compared to former. Civil engineering has opportunities in public sectors. You can appear in GATE and open opportunities in public sector jobs after graduation in civil engineering. -

Architectures are the creators of amazing buildings and structures.Considered as the profession for elite class students, Career in architecture is attractive and have lot of potential in terms of growth. Whereas on the other hand whereas civil engineering involves construction of dams, highways, canals, bridges etc. which is also highly rewarding. Both the areas are involved in planning and designing structures and both the profession rely on each other.
