If you have a plan of going abroad for higher studies, then you can go for animation because there are many opportunities in animation in foreign countries. India have more opportunities in the field of engineering and medicine. Computer science is still favorite for service sectors, especially IT followed by manufacturing and others. It depends on your interest.

It all depends on your interest. It is true that engineering and medical have better prospects in future, but before taking admission I would suggest you to see your inner voice where you want to go. You should evaluate your inner strengths and where you suit yourself. However, today animation also has got better prospects.
