Which field has better scope, salary packages and placement among computer science and IT?

    Both B.Tech CSE and B.Tec IT degrees are equally good with 80% similar syllabus. CSE graduates have better systems concepts in vompari oyo IT grafuates. CSE graduates have a minor edge over IT graduates. CSE graduates get both Apps and System development job whereas IT graduates like MCA graduates are preferred for Apps development roles. Indian IT industry give only Apps development job to IT graduates. B.Tech CSE graduates may also get better placement and little better CTC in comparison to IT graduates if they are from reputed Engineering colleges like IIT or NITs etc.

    both are almost same the only difference is CS is a higher version of IT and has more scope.

    Both are more or less the same but CSE is more technical than IT. Job opportunities in both are almost equal but IT companies give little bit more edge to CSE candidates than IT.
