Currently, both fields have a significant demand in the industry, and the scope can vary depending on the individuals expertise and experience. However, web development may have a slight edge over web designing as there is a higher demand for complex web applications and software development.

Both web designing and web development have good scope and are interrelated, but the demand for web development is generally higher due to the growing need for websites and web applications. Web developers are responsible for building the backend of websites and creating functional applications, whereas web designers focus on the visual design and layout. However, there is a growing demand for designers with front-end development skills who can create both visually appealing and functional websites.

Both have equivalent scope in terms of placements and job opportunities, but web development is better, because in web development you will learn web designing also.
