Hotel management is much better than Food Technology. It has good job prospects. Average Salary per month is from Rs. 20,000- Rs. 50,000. For fresh graduates, it depends on your designation. You may work in great hotels Like Taj Group of Hotels, International hotels etc. , with a post like Duty Manager, General Manager etc. And, later on you may become entrepreneur & open your own hotel or restaurants. But, if you are interested in Food Technology, following are the areas suitable for job:-
    Food Microbiologist
    Food Standards Officer
    Process and product development
    Production management
    Quality assurance
    Food Technologist
    Research and developm
    ...more
