Which field is better among mass communication and fashion designing?

Both are different sectors. But, there is good scope in both the courses. It totally depends on your interest what you want to do. Mass communication is the process of imparting and exchanging information through mass media to large segments of the population. It is usually understood for relating to various forms of media, as these technologies are used for the dissemination of information, of which journalism and advertising are part of. Types of mass communication: Advertising. Journalism. Public relations. Social media. Audio media. Convergence. Film and television. Photography. Fashion design is the art of applying design, aesthetics and natural beauty to clothing and its accessories. It is influenced by cultural and social attitudes, and has varied over time and place. Fashion designers work in a number of ways in designing clothing and accessories such as bracelets and necklaces. Some university like LPU offer a curriculum with an added advantage of Liberal Education along with good and advanced pedagogy in teaching. Hi Nomanjee, I think Mass Communication would be a better option. Few things you should keep on your mind prior to proceed for Journalism degree: Do they have a experienced faculty (Faculty must have expertise in theory and practical both). Do they have Adequate/appropriate equipment to make you expert in handling them. Do they have Audio/Video studio to teach them practically. Are they running any Media house. Do they provide the platform to you for doing practices. Do they have such atmosphere where you can have an experience to perform practically. Do they have Industrial Tie Ups. Do they provide Teachings from external experts. Now LPU is coming on my mind because they do provide all above mentioned Salient features. LPU is producing smart and Intelligent journalists. Not only journalists you can find LPU journalism students at various sectors of Media and Entertainment. For eg: I know one LPU Student who got placed as a Celebrity Manager in T-series.
