Which field is more preferable in MBA? When is the CAT exam? What should be the maximum score in CAT exam?

I am computer engineering student.

The field totally depends on interest, be it finance, marketing, HR or any other. CAT 2018 exam will be in the year's end, I.e. November-December. Getting a percentile of atleast 90 will fetch you a reputed B-School.
