Which field more is preferable among medical and genetic engineering?

Both fields have comparable scope. You should pursue a course which you feel comfortable doing. Consult with your peers and try to gather more information regarding course syllabus and subjects which will be studied in either course. This should help you gauge whether you will be interested in the course. Pursue a course where your interests lie. Genetic Engineering is also referred as genetic modification. It is a process of manually adding new DNA to a living organism through artificial methods. Genetic Engineering is a method of physically removing a gene from one organism and inserting it to another and giving it the ability to express the qualities given by that gene. The techniques of genetic engineering have been applied in various fields such as research, agriculture, industrial biotechnology and medicine. Genetic engineering focuses on biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, evolutionary biology and medical genetics. BE/B.Tech in biomedical engineering is all about the amalgamation of topics such as- Engineering, Technology and Biology. It is aimed at using concepts of Engineering, Technology and Biology to solve problems and in aiding research work, improve and enrich healthcare sector, medicines, diagnostic processes, rehabilitation, hospital equipment/tools and surgical processes.
