Dear student, Choosing better in between H/W N/Working and S/W is not a practical task as it entirely depends on Individual's interest , skill, passion and strength along with market demand as well. For X , s/w may be a befitting one, but for Y, it may N/Working. As you are BCA and already working

today there is good scope in hardware or networking line but you also have to clear some certification in networking line like LINUX, CCNA, MCSE this increase you degree value and very helpful to get good job , today there is good competition in software line as compare to networking line
