It is difficult to get a place in a Government Medical College (GMC) in Maharashtra under the All India Quota (AIQ) with an All India Rank (AIR) of 117,000 in NEET because the cutoffs for general category applicants have been much lower in prior years, For example the general category candidates AIQ cutoff in 2022 was 15,453 with a NEET score of 613.
However, there might be opportunities under the Maharashtra State Quota, particularly if you fall under a reserved category. The state quota threshold for the SC category in 2024 was 131913 on the AIR and 554 on the NEET.
