Therefore, on average, IIT Madras has a better salary package for its Engineering graduates than IIT Kanpur. According to the placement records, IIT Madras offered a maximum annual salary of Rs 52.5 Lacs and a minimum salary of Rs 7 Lacs to Civil Engineering students in 2020-21.
