Which has a better scope and why: Business Law or Consumer Law ?

    First of all, both are very different areas and they shouldn't be compared, but I would still answer it as to the best of my knowledge.
    There is no official data available in India about the number of lawyers in both areas and about their salaries so it becomes tough to compare both.
    Business law is about disputes between firms, companies, partnerships, and small businesses.

    Hello everyone,
    Comparing business laws and consumer laws is like walking on two divergent of a road.
    However, in today's time, there are consumers who are prone to grievances and thus a need for lawyers dealing in consumer laws specially are preferred. Also, not much lawyers practice consumer law specifically thus the scope here is widening every day.
    Business law however is something that includes a no. of laws ranging from Contract Act, Partnership Act, and sale of goods act.
    Studying business laws is much theoretical and consuming but yes it has a much broader scope as contracts and partnership related matters arise every now and then.
