Hello, Economics: It's the foundation perhaps of human society. Right from barter trades of early humans to mobile app based economic activity of today in all such activities economics was always there. Economics could be personal, national or international, it's of vital importance. As a result economics graduates have great demand in the market place. From finance officers to finance planners to auditing, all these topics come under economics. On the other hand, international relations is relatively a newer topic. In olden times, when means of communication, means of transportation we're very sluggish, nobody used to give much importance. But with Advent of technology, perspectives have changed. Any smallest of issues between two countries can occupy primetime on TV in matter of minutes. A lot of understanding is needed on social, cultural and economic topics in dealing with this.To conclude, I must say that presently in India, economics takes the precedence in job market as compared with International Relations. But with emerging stronger India, this topic is going to surge in near future.
