Which has a better scope and why: Foreign languages or Political Science ?

Hi, Both the courses are totally different from each other. A course in foreign language gives you a chance to learn about the language, culture and tradition of a particular community whereas, political science provides you an opportunity to learn about the political system. Therefore, you should pursue a course according to your interest. Both the courses offer a wide range of career opportunities. By pursuing a course in foreign language you can become a translator, teacher, freelancer and interpreter. Many multinational companies hire people who have knowledge of languages such as French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, etc. After BA political science you can do MA in political science and appear for UGC NET exam for Assistant professor. You can do LLB and become a lawyer or you can also appear for Union Public Service Commission or State Public Service Commission exams. You can also appear for management entrance exams and pursue MBA. In a nutshell, you are eligible for all the entrance exams after both BA in foreign language and BA in political science.
