Which has a better scope and why: Marketing or International Business?

Well as per the question both the field International Business and Marketing has few things in common. Firstly in IB you will study marketing at international level and secondly, you will have to do marketing at the international level in order to cope with the globalization of the business. So both are interrelated.Talking about IB in MBA you will be dealing with a task that is more at a global level. You will be responsible for creating a brand image at International level, promotion of your brand at a global level, creating a marketing campaign, the launching of product in other countries, new business development etc these roles are challenging and required extra skills to tackle and handle them. You will be earning a salary of about Rs 6 lakh minimum to upto Rs 20 lakh in the starting. While in marketing you will be responsible for creating a brand image, branding, positioning, launching, new business etc not surely at a global level but also at domestic level too.Your work will be challenging enough. You would require a skill set similar to your work. The more you acquired experience more you will be successful. The starting salary will be around Rs 5 lakh to upto Rs 15 lakh and will go up with experience. All the best!!
