Psychology is a study of behavior, mind, work, conscious and non-conscious thoughts of the people. And politics is the study in which students are trained so that they can take a decision with other's help.
Politics has a better scope as compared to psychology as there is less use of a person who observes instead of the one who guides them. Right now in the country, there are many politicians who are not eligible for this. But when a proper training and education are given to them, everything works fine.
