Which has better placement at Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute, B.Tech in CSE or B.Tech in ECE?

B.Tech in CSE has better placement at Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute than ECE for obvious reasons, because even though the ECE branch has been on a rise in last few years computer skills are still the most demanded skills in the industry. So, if you are getting both branches you should try to get into CSE unless you have some interest in ECE other than placement.
