    Talking about placements, B.Tech in Computer Science engineering is better than B.Tech in ECE at Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) 

    Placement at VJTI for B.Tech in computer Science engineering: 100 percent of students were placed in the year 2023 . The highest package was INR 44 lacs per annum, followed by average package at INR 18 lacs per annum. 

    Placement that VJTI for B.Tech in ESE : 92 percent of students were placed in the year 2023. The highest package was INR 29 lacs per annum, followed by average package at INR 14 lacs per annum.

    Based on the information provided, B.Tech in Computer Engineering (CSE) has better placements at VJTI Mumbai compared to B.Tech in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (ECE). In the academic year 2022-23, the placement percentage for Computer Engineering was 100%, with a the highest CTC of 44.14 LPA and an average CTC of 18.19 LPA. On the other hand, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering had a placement percentage of 92%, with a the highest CTC of 29.48 LPA and an average CTC of 14.05 LPA. Therefore, based on these statistics, B.Tech in CSE has better placement opportunities at VJTI Mumbai than B.Tech in ECE.

    The B.Tech programme in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at VJTI Mumbai offers higher salary packages and provides better placements than the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) branch.

    -The strong demand for IT services and software development positions is advantageous to CSE. Numerous positions are available for CSE graduates from leading recruiters such as TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, etc.
    -Engineers from the CSE branch are also hired for computer engineering positions in fields like data science, app development, and cloud computing.
    -There aren't many openings at key electronics companies like Qualcomm, MediaTek, etc.
