Difference is in duration amongst both the programmes. Otherwise, LPU provides equal opportunities for placement for both the programmes. B.Sc design is of 3 years and b.design. is of 4 years.

Between B.Sc. Design and B.Design in Fashion Design at Lovely Professional University (LPU), B.Design generally offers better placement opportunities. This is because the Bachelor of Design is a professional degree with more in-depth industry-oriented coursework, project-based learning, and practical exposure, which aligns well with employer expectations. LPU has collaborations with top brands in the fashion industry, and students have been placed in companies like H&M, Pantaloons, Myntra, FabIndia, Shoppers Stop, Zara, Ritu Kumar, and Levi's. Good afternoon,

Both B.Sc. Design and B.Design in Fashion Design offer strong placement opportunities at LPU, but the type of companies may differ. B.Sc. Design opens doors to fields like graphic design, product design, and UI/UX design, with placements in companies like Adobe, Tata Consultancy Services, and Cognizant. B.Design in Fashion Design focuses on fashion and apparel, leading to placements in companies like Pantaloons, H&M, Myntra, FabIndia, and Puma.

If you are interested in broader creative roles, B.Sc. Design may offer more diverse opportunities, while B.Design is ideal for fashion-focused careers.
