For B.Tech CSE, Chandigarh University offers good packages than Chandigarh engineering colleges each and every year. To get an admission into course, student need to have a minimum of 50 percentage in 12th from a valid board. -

Hi, both are equal in terms of placements as both of these colleges are owned by one and the same organisation. But since the founder's team is much concentrated in flourishment and development of Chandigarh University. Hence try looking up for admission in Chandigarh University. I have passed my engineering from Chandigarh Engineering College but we were taken to Chandigarh University for our placement sessions. JEE score does not really matter as the university also offers admission on the basis of 12th board score and yes JEE low scores are also offered admissions either on management quota or based on 12th standard marks. The packages at CU and CGC are quite similar as both the colleges come under the banner of Chandigarh Group of Colleges. Salary packages depend on how your placements go. If you do well, you are likely to get packages as high as 31.77 LPA as one of our students had. -

6 years agoBoth the colleges have good placements as CGC students also sit for the placements along with Chandigarh University students. -
In terms of placement, Chandigarh University provides higher salary package. Although it is in Limca Book Record because highest number of companies visited CU to recruit students and all the students are prepared well in advance by the departments by conducting extra sessions, seminars, etc. -
