Which has more career options among B.Sc fisheries and B.Sc community science?

Hi Kajal, Here is the scope of B.Sc fisheries: A number of job opportunities are available for B.F.Sc. graduates in the government as well as private sector. Talking about the government sector, the prime recruiters are: Fisheries Development Boards (State wise), Food Department (State wise) and Banks. The Private sector offers much more job opportunities. B.F.Sc. graduates usually get hired by food processing and technology sector, fish breeding farms large and medium in size, aquariums, etc. The average starting salary in case of graduates is between 2 and 4 Lakh rupees per year. If one has entrepreneurship skills, one may even start his own fish breeding or processing enterprise. Slowly, one may grow on and even export the product to other countries. If you are looking for community science then the scope further involves social work, joining an NGO and so on. So do this if you are interested in social working.
