Dear Aspirant, I would recommend B.Tech (Lateral) in Mechanical Engineering after the Diploma in ME. It has scope in both India and abroad. Hi, I will recommend you to go fro mechanical engineering. Mechanical engineering is a professional programme which helps students to understand the working mechanisms of heavy tools and machines. It deals with construction, design, and manufacture of machines. You can get your job more easily with degree of Mechanical engineer than Automobile engineer. Truth being that every firm prefers mechanical Er. Over Automobile Er. Even some automobile companies prefer Mech. Er. Best of luck!
