Different IITs have different specialisations with different faculty, brand image and placement record etc. Therefore, it is difficult to identify and categorised best IIT at generic level. One can classify best IIT branch wise. In my opinion all old IITs are good and can be classified as best. Consider IIT Kanpur, Delhi Mumbai Khargapur Chennai Roorkee as the best.
