Hello dear, in my opinion, both the universities are at the same level placement-wise. I studied in LPU and one of my friends was in Amity. The atmosphere was almost same. Studies will be same also. Just the difference will be of the fee (usually high in case of amity and moreover no such good facilities at that price). I would prefer to go for LPU because you can complete your B.Tech in 4 lakhs with accommodation but in Amity, you will be needing approximately 10 lakhs. The placement company will be the same choose wisely. Moreover, both colleges have mass recruiters mainly which gives the same package so not to worry about that you ca

  • Dear Student,
Scholarships, placements, exposure to the industry, international placements and internships, efficient and knowledgeable faculty, flexible curriculum and teaching pedagogies, infrastructure, and diverse culture makes LPU unmatchable. Coming to rankings, MHRD has ranked LPU High in many aspects. ASSOCHAM (Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India) rated LPU as the best private university in 2017 (for the 3rd time) with regards to placements. Zee News Survey rated LPU as 11th best in India in terms of placements. LPU is ranked among the top 3 in universities in India for tie-ups with more than 25 countries for i

Compared to growth in crimes in India, there is huge gap for efficient forensic experts. Due to this gap, there is a high demand for Forensic Experts and the career prospects are high currently. Lack of awareness about the course is another reason for the demand of forensic experts high in the market. Many of my friends shared very good reviews about this course at LPU. The Forensic Science domain promises to create a research and placement oriented environment. The department regularly works on student research projects with novel ideas of applied value. : Highly experienced faculty excellent in terms of their educational background,

Amity and LPU are almost same and do not have much differences in their curriculum. Amity, whereas is however, better than LPU in overall performance though relatively expensive as well. Also, only amity Gurgaon and Noida campus are doing well and the rest campus still needed time to build thereself. Also, living in Delhi is not everyone's cup of tea as the pollution and other factors are not suitable of new freshers (not for all )So, if money is not an issue and the above mentioned concern are resistable, then join amity else lpu.

To get admission into the PhD programme at Lovely Professional University (LPU), here's how the process works:

You must meet the eligibility criteria: typically a Master's degree in a relevant field with minimum 55% aggregate marks (UGC norms) or equivalent. In certain disciplines, candidates with a 4‑year Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of industry / teaching / research experience and 75% marks may also apply. However, candidates with certain valid qualifications are exempt from the entrance test: e.g. those who have cleared UGC‑NET/JRF, CSIR‑NET/JRF, GATE, GPAT or have done M.Phil (in regular mode). In their case, selection is ba

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Dear reader,

Taking admission at LPU is a great choice. LPUNEST is their own entrance and scholarship exam.

The candidate's merit rank on the test and the courses and specializations they selected during the online preference submission are the main factors used to assign seats for LPU NEST counseling.  The availability of seats in the selected programs is another factor that affects allocation.

For more information kindly contact their concerned department.

I hope this information helps.
