Which institute is better amongst MITSOT, Athena School of Management and MET Institute of Management?

    Hi,
    Mumbai is always a better option as compared to Pune because of more corporates being present and it being the commercial and financial capital of India. So better internships and placements are there in Mumbai.
    a) MITSOT, Pune only specialises in telecom (which as a sector isn't doing too great) so they give very limited industry interface.
    b) MET, Mumbai was good till a few years back. However, in the past couple of years, they are facing issues because of the trust problems and placements have also got affected. They have a very large intake which is good for campus life but not so good for education & placement quality. It is l

However, according to the verified Shiksha reviews of the students and alumni of ASM Mumbai, the highest placement package secured by the graduates in the recent placement drive was INR 12 LPA.

To get admission into the PGPM course at Athena School of Management, applicants must secure valid scores in GMAT/ NMAT by GMAC/ CAT scores, followed by a GD & PI/ counselling. Moreover, if candidates have not secured valid scores in any of these entrance exams, they are required to appear and secure valid scores in ASAT - Athena Scholastic Ability Test. Moreover, admission without an entrance exam is not mentioned anywhere on the official website of the college.

The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to the PGPM/ MBA course at ISME Bangalore and Athena School of Management are almost similar, in which candidates must complete their graduation with decent scores. Moreover, for the selection process, the accepted entrance varies from college to college:

  • Accepted Entrance Exam for PGPM at Athena School of Management: GMAT/ NMAT by GMAC/ CAT/ Athena Scholastic Ability Test. 
  • Accepted Entrance Exam for MBA at ISME Bangalore: CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ Other. 

Further, GD&PI are common selection processes at both colleges.

Yes, Athena School of Management does offer internship opportunities to MBA/ PGPM students. Moreover, as per the information brochure of the course available at the official website of the school. students have to undergo three internships (two months each in semesters one, two, and three). Students also get an opportunity to apply for international internships. Additionally, students have completed their international internships across the world in Germany, Italy, Holland, Turkey, etc.
