Which institute is better for CSE among DIT, Dehradun and LPU?

Selection of an institution is most challenging task now-a-days. I am unaware about the details of the programme for DIT but can throw some light on the programme floated by LPU as one of my neighbourer took admission in LPU's CSE last year. She told that university offers the following: 1. International tie-ups with more than 200 countries 2. Developing analytical, communication and decision making skills of students 3. Students are encouraged to undertake assignments/project work from the industry 4. Exposure to Students :Cloud computing, IoT, Data Science, Machine Learning, Big Data and many more 5. International Exposure Option to the students to study fro four weeks. 6. Good placements The brands such as Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs, Capgemini, Verizon, SAP Labs, Hitachi Power, Videocon, L&amp;T Technology Services, Ericsson, HCL Technologies, Asahi India, Ceasefire Industries, Sandhar Technologies, Indus tower, Decathlon Sports, Exide Industries etc. have visited to recruit students at good packages. I will advice you to plan the admission at the earliest or maximum by 30-6-2020 because LPU floats scholarships on various parameters but date of admission also matters. I had same question when i was seeking the place for my higher studies. i am an alumni of LPU and My real brother is also LPU passed out with CSE .From infrastructure to faculty members. From education quality to rankings and facilities in university. In everything LPU performed remarkable. The centralized system of LPU is so much strong that makes things easy to understand. The most important priorities of LPU is best quality of education and placements at great places. They follow these things and result is lot of deserved and eligible students got the best places. Even my brother also is working at MNC with very good reputed brand those who are not able to achieve anything due to their own mistakes then Grapes are sour. You understand what I mean. Moreover, LPU has Best Lifestyle and College Life. You will find lot of things to enjoy apart from the education. LPU campus is well planned and advanced in terms of facilities and technologies. LPU is good in all perspectives whether it is teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. You will find the students and staff from about 50 Countries; from Cities, Suburbs, small Towns; from every ethnic & religious background. LPU is better if you have sufficient fund for it. Because it is too much costly than DIT. DIT is also a better option but at some point LPU beats DIT. So, if have no problem of fund than go for LPU otherwise choose DIT.

DIT Dehradun: Placements: There is a great scope of placements in this college. Many companies come to this college like HCL, Dell, Amazon and many more. Last year, a package of 2.5 million was given to two of the students, both were offered by Amazon. It is one of the rare colleges which provides placement in Google. 2. Infrastructure: The college has great infrastructure. The classrooms are well furnished and well maintained. The college has a good quality speaker installed in class for a better experience. The hostel facility is very good with over 7000 seats, hostel mess is one of the best in the region. 3. Faculty: The faculty are as good as any other colleges in the state. The course curriculum is specially designed for the better understanding of the student. The curriculum, in fact, plays an important role in the overall development of students. The faculty is very helpful and also always gives extra time to each and every student. LPU: Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent with 24 hours of Wi-Fi in the hostels and institute areas. Apart from this, a LAN connection is also there in the hostel with well-equipped library and classrooms (with AC, projectors, etc.). The university has state of the art infrastructure. It ranked among one of the best universities in infrastructure in Punjab. 24/7 electricity, Wi-Fi, Campus Security, transport facilities, shopping complex, water supply, cafeteria, restaurant, indoor and outdoor games, medical facilities are available inside the campus. Hostel rooms are fine. There are single, double, triple rooms available. It is quite spacious to make you feel comfortable. Education: The quality of education is good so far. If you are an average student and worried about the standard of education in the university then you can cross that off from your list, as the education here is delivered properly, interactively and conveniently. Also, the level of technical education that we receive here is worthwhile. It totally depends on you as well, how and what you want to do. If you can be a little attentive during lectures you are sure to get a hang of it, teachers make sure of that.

But being alumni of LPU, I can provide you with the details of BTech in CSE at LPU only instead of DIT Dehradun. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. in which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. per annum by Microsoft. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries which helps students to explore themselves more in their field.
