Hello Shivansh,
Manipal as well as SRM, both are very reputed private institutions. Both are known to have good quality instructors and other facilities. Hence both have the same ranking as per me.

SRM University gets its rank after paying it off to different surveyors. But its not like that here in Manipal. Manipal Institute of Technology is far better than SRM in all aspects. SRM has copied several things from Manipal Institute of Technology like Semester Abroad Program and so on. Quality of students of MIT Manipal is also much better than SRM University. Here admission is totally based on merit no matter who you are. But in SRM University there are several management quotas available to get admission. Hello Shivansh,
The main point of discussion is the placements :
Manipal placement 2015-16:
MIT, Manipal always has great placements in CSE, and this year was no exception. The highest package reaching up to 20 LPA (Amazon and Microsoft), the average salary being close to around 5 LPA.
SRM placements 2015-16:
Maximum students are placed in IT companies with less than 3 LPA.

SRM institute has been ranked 34 by NIRF 21, 3 by TIMES 21, and 11 by Shiksha COLLECTIONS 21. It placed students with a medium salary of 3.60 Lacs and the highest salary was 42.60 Lacs. It has been approved by UGC, and AICTE, and has a grade of A + in NAAC. It has also facilities such as a library, hostel, gym and many more.
