The 2020-21 Campus Session has seen big names like Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, and L&T recruiting engineering students from Chandigarh University. A record number of 3750 engineering students were selected during the institutionalization of which more than 240 international companies participated.

The QS GAUGE rating system is one of a kind because it combines the global expertise, experience, and reputation of the UK company QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) with the essence of the flexible Indian higher education system and aligns itself with international standards and best practices. This results in a rating system that is truly one of a kind. As a result of having the maximum number of campus placement companies in a single academic year, Chandigarh University is now recognised in the Limca Book of Records. Major companies have recruited engineering students from Chandigarh University during the 2020-21 Campus Session. These companies include Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, and L&T. During the institutionalization process, which included participation from over 240 worldwide businesses, a record number of 3,750 undergraduate engineering students were chosen.

A unique rating system, QS I-GAUGE brings together the global expertise, experience, and reputation of UK-based QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) & captures the essence of the dynamic Indian higher education system & conforms to international standards & best practices Chandigarh University is now in the Limca Book of Records for the highest Number of Companies for Campus Placements in a single academic year. Campus Placements for the session 2020-21 saw some big names such as Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, and L&T recruiting engineering students from Chandigarh University. A record number of 3750 engineering students were selected during the campus placements in which more than 240 multinational companies participated. In total there was a jump of 30% in the number of total companies visiting the CU campus for campus placements of engineering students while there was a jump of 70% in the number of core branch companies that selected fresh talent. Moreover, the total number of offers made to engineering students also saw a rise of 60% in comparison to last year. Of the total 240 Engineering sector companies, more than 100 MNCs offered pay-package of more than 5 LPA while a number of companies offering packages of more than 10 LPA touched 25 this year. It is notable that the highest package of Rs. 35 LPA was offered by TOP Company.

1. SEE both the colleges have their own pros and cons, and I cant tell you about PCE Chandigarh. However, in my personal opinion, UPES is an excellent university offering excellent opportunities to students2. Be it the state-of-the-art infrastructure, highly qualified faculty, or the impressive placement record, UPES has almost everything that makes it one of the top universities in India. 3. They also have various clubs and societies for extracurriculars, so you don't just focus on your academics.

SEE both the schools have their own upsides and downsides, and I cannot educate you concerning PCE Chandigarh. However, I may propose to go for Chandigarh University on the grounds that UIE, Best Engineering College in Punjab, is remarkable in drawing its solidarity and inspiration from the uncommon support given by first class blue-chip global organizations.
