Which institute is better for pursuing CS/ECE: new IITs, VIT, BIT Mesra or Thapar University?

Any IIT is likely to be better than other Univ colleges/institutes because of its brand value. If you get a good stream, then it is great. stay at IIT for good placement as well as higher studies.
