Which institute is better for pursuing CSE: LPU or MIT?

Well, there is actually no comparison. CSE being a highly dynamic field needs the curriculum up gradations almost continuously, LPU is only one of the few private universities which has recognised this and developed the process of continuous feedback and consultations with industry to upgrade the syllabi in real time ! LPUs investment in intellectual capital is way beyond the comprehension, extremely qualified and talented ! With a research powerhouse of more than 100 post doctorates and 700 PHDs LPUs strength is its academic power. Coming to infrastructure, the huge 600 acre plus campus which is equipped with each and every machinery, equipment an software required in all the programs is a wonder in itself, just for an example, more than 10 companies have established the centers for excellence within the campus with their own investment to keep an eye on the abundant talent ! The central library is one massive 6 story building with lacs of books and network to produce any title anytime ! And this is in addition to many other libraries in all the departments. Industry plays important part in shaping the careers of students at LPU, from consulting for curriculum, to guest lectures, industry interface, internships, consulting projects, establishing centers, providing machinery and equipment's, software, certifications and finally immersing the students from campus. Attracting 30000 plus students, 200 international universities and more than 700 companies from all over the world to its state of the art multicultural campus year after year after year speaks volumes about LPU. In B.Tech, you have to study all the engineering subjects, But if you opt for B.Tech Hons. Then you have to study only one of the engineering subjects in more depth. So, in B.Tech you have to study all the subjects given by colleges. But in B.Tech Hons. You have to study only one subjects which you like the most and you get specialisation only in one subjects. So, according to my opinion, B.Tech Hons. Is the best option, In nowadays there is a very great demand for Hons. Degree. Choosing the best university with good placement is also important, I would recommend LPU based on my research that I have done by interacting LPU B.Tech students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. MIT is a very good university. The B Tech CSE programme is one programme that LPU is known for. It offers a well-tailored course content to meet the global industrial needs, has good faculty, and state-of-the-art facilities that have left many NITs far behind. Accredited by most technical bodies such as UGC, NCTE, PCI, IAP, COA, BCI, and AIU, LPU has covered massive ground since being founded back in 2005. Already amongst the top private colleges students keep on their checklist, the potential for LPU to grow further seems apparent. 3. Faculty: LPU composed of the best faculty members from IIM, IITs and the other best B schools. 4. Upgraded Approach: LPU is highly upgraded in its parameters as it includes paperless attendance, online assignments, submission etc. We can also raise our grievances online itself 5.
