Well, there is actually no comparison. CSE being a highly dynamic field needs the curriculum up gradations almost continuously, LPU is only one of the few private universities which has recognised this and developed the process of continuous feedback and consultations with industry to upgrade the syllabi in real time !
LPUs investment in intellectual capital is way beyond the comprehension, extremely qualified and talented ! With a research powerhouse of more than 100 post doctorates and 700 PHDs LPUs strength is its academic power. Coming to infrastructure, the huge 600 acre plus campus which is equipped with each and every machinery,

    Hello!
CSE from Lovely Professional University is always preferred among students. Being an Alumni of LPU from same course, I would say go for LPU. The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Lovely Professional University commenced with a mission to become a Center of Excellence that facilitates high-end research at par with industry challenges and raise computer Science engineers with high-technical competencies. The highest Number of Placements in Top MNCs (Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, IBM, etc. )

In B.Tech, you have to study all the engineering subjects, But if you opt for B.Tech Hons. Then you have to study only one of the engineering subjects in more depth. So, in B.Tech you have to study all the subjects given by colleges. But in B.Tech Hons. You have to study only one subjects which you like the most and you get specialisation only in one subjects. So, according to my opinion, B.Tech Hons. Is the best option, In nowadays there is a very great demand for Hons. Degree. Choosing the best university with good placement is also important, I would recommend LPU based on my research that I have done by interacting LPU B.Tech stude

Dear Dr. Sanjay, I will suggest LPU as my friend did B.Tech in CSE from LPU and share the following few things with me about the CSE programme at LPU:
Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the stud

MIT is a very good university. The B Tech CSE programme is one programme that LPU is known for. It offers a well-tailored course content to meet the global industrial needs, has good faculty, and state-of-the-art facilities that have left many NITs far behind. The B Tech CSE programme primarily deals with the development as well as designing of computer software and hardware processes with a strong focus on courses related to algorithms, computation, programming languages, program design, computer hardware, computer software, databases, operating systems, computer networking, etc. That are needed to build and solve problems using compu

Good Placements: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which are placed. Hi, In this techno-savvy world, every university is floating CSE as the demand is the highest but only a few universities provide quality education. Therefore, I would recommend LPU because LPU has ranked among top-100 in the Overall as well as University category by NIRF-2020 rankings. LPU ranks amongst the Top 200 universities globally as per the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021. Their syllabus is designed keeping in mind the industry demands, and company officials vet the syllabus. Different specializations are offered to students depending upon the stream they want to opt for. For example- In CSE, they provid

Both LPU and MIT are good and distinct Universities in terms of offering the CSE programme but I must say that LPU is one of the best in the country. Hey, so for LPU's end-term exam in Physical Education, you need at least 30% marks in the end-term itself, plus an overall 40% combining continuous assessment and end-term. That's the standard across their PE programs, and they've got a cool holistic review if you hit the aggregate but miss the end-term bit—super fair way to keep things student-friendly. Attendance stays key at 75% min, which makes sense for staying active in sports stuff. LPU really nails this balance, helping folks like us push through without harsh cutoffs, way better for building real fitness skills. No wonder it's a top pick—keeps motivation high and stress lo

The Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET) of LPU for the 2025 admissions into PE/sports programs was conducted in several schedules, with the latest being on August 26, 2025 (Schedule VI). For the year 2026, tentative dates start on April 16, running until August, in 6 phases. Please check the website for updates.

Hey guys, so I checked the official LPU site for the BPEd course fee, and for the first year, it's around INR1 Lacs to INR1.09 lakhs, covering tuition at INR50,000 per semester plus exam fees of about INR4,500-INR5,000 each. That's super reasonable for a top-notch programme with awesome sports facilities and scholarships up to 60% if you score well in LPUNEST—like INR96,000 off per semester for high performers. LPU really makes it accessible without compromising quality, way better value than many places I've seen. Total for two years is INR2-2.18 lakhs, but first-year payment is straightforward via UPI or whatever. If you're into ph

Hey, so from what I've checked on LPU's official site, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for sports programs like B.P.Ed is totally offline. It's this practical fitness check with stuff like a 50m sprint, standing broad jump, medicine ball throw (3kg for guys, 2kg for girls), and a 1000m run/walk—all done on campus with invigilators watching to keep it fair.
No online version here since it's hands-on physical activities, and you gotta bring your own sports kit or they won't let you in. LPU runs it in multiple schedules based on registrations, super flexible for everyone. Honestly, it's cool how they make it real-world ready witho

Hey, so the LPU Physical Efficiency Test (PET) isn't some super long drag—it's more like a quick fitness check that usually wraps up in 20 to 45 minutes, depending on how fit you are. You've got to nail a 50m sprint, standing broad jump, overhead medicine ball throw (3kg for guys, 2kg for gals), and a 1000m run/walk, all in one go with up to two tries. No fixed "hours" timer since it's practical stuff, not a marathon sit-down exam.LPU keeps it real and fair, testing real stamina for sports courses like B.P.Ed—super helpful to see if you're ready without wasting your day. Bring your own kit or you're out, but slots are flexible
