Which is a better among geophysical technology at IIT, Roorkee and electrical engineering at ISM, Dhanbad?

The two options you gave, I would advise you to go with electrical engineering at IIT(ISM) Dhanbad. It is because your branch matters and certainly electrical is much better than geophysical and electrical is core branch too.
Electrical engineering students at IIT(ISM), Dhanbad has got decent placements in past few years. Since we got the IIT tag last year only, the number of companies visiting the campus is bound to increase from here on. You can get into the BTech courses offered by IIT (ISM) Dhanbad through JEE Mains. However, JEE Mains isn't enough. One must clear JEE Advanced to get into any of the IITs. The same applies to the IIT Dhanbad admissions as well. To summarise:
