Which is a better branch of engineering among electrical and electrical & electronics engineering?

This is the age of Electronics. Electronics is impacting all aspects of human life. Next generation of automation is driven by Electronics. I am the opinion that opportunities and career growth scope of Electronics grads will higher in comparison to pure Electrical Engineering grads.
