Which is a better branch to opt for among EEE and ECE?

As such, you should choose according to your interest, preference and inclination. Bhut here are few points that y1ou can keep in mind while selecting. 1. EEE is like a mother branch and ECE is sort of derived from it. Both have a number of similar subjects. Their dissimilarity lies in that ECE has major focus on semiconductor, transistor, op-amp, microprocessor etc. EEE also touches these domains but maybe not as deeply. ECE also has communication subjects like DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING, Analog signal processing, satellite communication etc. , whereas EEE has subject on motors, Transformers, Grid lines etc. (I don't know much about EEE subjects that are taught). So you can choose according to your aligned interests 2. This also depends upon the college you are going to join and the faculty there and which stream gets better placements and packages. (coz nowadays stream doesn't matter much until and unless you're joining a core company which specifically requires your skill sets and knowledge in a particular domain. And most of us end up in IT industry) So select accordingly. Cheers.
