IMI, Kolkata offers students an international experience of learning. The case based approach to class room learning by some of the most revered professors of their stream makes the learning here special. The college has international collaboration with universities across globe. Students are sent abroad for internships, sports tournaments and also classes through student exchange programme. The institute hosts some of the leading conferences of the nation. The infrastructure marks it off from other management institutes.

The placements of IMI are better whereas Amity has a better campus.
