Which is a better college among LPU and Chandigarh University?

Hi, Selecting a university is a big decision and a very difficult task, as our career depends upon that. I would highly recommend LPU because of the following reasons. 1. Infrastructure: The University is spread over 600 acres which provide each and every facility to its students inside the campus. Well, considering education, well-equipped labs are designed with experienced faculty and lab assistants that make you excel in the study. 2. Faculty: Every semester, the syllabus is updated. The faculty members are available all the time of the week so that the student can approach any time of the week. LPU has lots of experienced faculty members specialised in certain fields that can help you boost the knowledge, help build up your projects, guide you in your pace of life, any personal or educational issues, etc. 3. Diversity: The University with the most diverse student population. Students from all across the world live in the hostel, which comes the closest to being 'a home away from home'. The mixture of races and religions helps to build a decent environment. It's very exciting because you will get a chance to interact with people from different nationalities, cultures, and different backgrounds. 4. Campus Life: At the end of a tiring day or week, everyone expects Entertainment and refreshing ways to uplift their daily boring schedule. But here in LPU, they conduct so many big events where they call popular celebrities and help their students to feel more alive and energetic, which makes life in LPU more fun. 5. Moreover, the university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Companies that visit LPU are Amazon, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Trident Group, Khimji Ramdas, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, Nestle, Adobe Systems India Private Limited, Vlcc Health Care, Hdfc, Crescendo Group, Rallis India, and several other firms. The highest Package Availed by Engineering (CSE) Student MS Tanya Arora is 42 LPA by Microsoft. Students are placed in AMAZON at a package of 30 LPA. The LPU infrastructure is quite vast and enough to support all types of practical like the ones needed for agriculture, physical education etc. The lush lawns are very inviting. LPU has all the necessary accreditation. The faculty is not only experienced but is updates with the latest leanings by industry experts in the faculty development programs held at regular intervals. The faculty is academically very helpful too. Industry immersion can be seen as there are seminars and workshops held by the industry experts and the alumni, so that the students can get a fair idea of the market trends The labs are well-equipped with the latest technology. The main library is a nine story building and is well-equipped, besides this there are libraries in each block. Placement preparation starts right from the beginning and the placement and career de [department is one of the largest and best in India. The School of Professional Enhancement gives the necessary analytical, logical skills and soft skills to polish the student to the core to make him placement ready. Even mock placement drives are held. The MNCs have recruited many students to top notch positions. A student of Agriculture got a whooping offer of 1cr from a US firm, B.Tech CSE student got 42LPA from Microsoft. About 650 companies visit LPU for recruitment in the LPU campus.

I would suggest you to check the following before finalising the institute. 1. Rankings 2. Faculty 3. Pedagogy used 4. International exposure 5. Tech-savvy last but not the least Placements I can't comment on CU but yes LPU being in education since last 18 years has fetched many rankings to its credit as compared to any other institute. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. The latest, NIRF has ranked LPU among top 100 institutions Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic sessions. Students are also provided with on job trainings, industrial exposures inculcating in them modern management skills. LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same, it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. The syllabus is vetted from the company officials of Cognozant, SAP, Microsoft etc. To provide updated curriculum. LPU has his own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. If you consider placements, LPU outperforms in that as well by assisting the student to get the highest package by making the student prepare for the placements. I tell you a girl named Tanya got placed in Microsoft at 42LPA and many more students got hefty packages which I doubt students have cracked at the other mentioned institute. As I mentioned there is no comparison but if you still want my opinion, LPU is the right option.
