Though both the universities are good in terms of academic structure but being an alumni of LPU let me explain the things in detail. The below stated factors make it one of the most refined campus:-
Courses: Not just engineering, the university is also known for programs like MBA, Business Management, Design, Hotel Management, Law, Pharmacy among others. Placement : LPU takes pride in its students' excellent placement record. Tanya Arora, a promising third-year B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering student at the university bagged a job with Microsoft in 2019, at a salary of Rs 42 lacs. Thousands of other LPU students are working with industry bigwigs like Google, Amazon, Capgemini and more. Cognizant, ranked 3rd among IT companies in the world, alone has hired 2226 students from LPU in just three years. Keeping up with its high standards, over 550 national and international companies visited the campus in 2019, including Hewlett Packard, Adobe, Xerox, Abbott, IBM, Cognizant, Microsoft any many more. There is no match, Chandigarh University has always been better than the LPU. Chandigarh University is bestowed with prestigious NIRF ranking, the university has been ranked under top 50 universities of India (which includes all IITs and NITs too). Gone are the days when IITs were the only institutions in India that provided quality of education. Nowadays, there are many private universities like BITS Pilani, Chandigarh University, VIT that are at par with the IITs. I recall one of my friends inquired from LPU. He was told that every year 750 companies visit to recruit students which shows the right choice to pursue your degree. Rest you can also inquire about other institutes but I doubt the above facilities are floated. So, LPU is the best university. Thanks.

I would choose LPU which tends to change instruction through scholastic meticulousness; pragmatic direction and result based education. The LPU infrastructure is quite vast and enough to support all types of practical like the ones needed for agriculture, physical education etc. The lush lawns are very inviting. LPU has all the necessary accreditation. The faculty is not only experienced but is updates with the latest leanings by industry experts in the faculty development programs held at regular intervals. The faculty is academically very helpful too. Industry immersion can be seen as there are seminars and workshops held by the industry experts and the alumni, so that the students can get a fair idea of the market trends
The labs are well-equipped with the latest technology. The main library is a nine story building and is well-equipped, besides this there are libraries in each block. Placement preparation starts right from the beginning and the placement and career department is one of the largest and best in India. The School of Professional Enhancement gives the necessary analytical, logical skills and soft skills to polish the student to the core to make him placement ready. Even mock placement drives are held. The MNCs have recruited many students to top notch positions. A student of Agriculture got a whooping offer of 1cr from a US firm, B.Tech CSE student got 42LPA from Microsoft. About 700 companies visit LPU for recruitment in the LPU campus.
