Which is a better college for B.Tech in CSE from among LPU, Veltech, BITS, VITEE, IIMT and all other private colleges?

All the mentioned names are good in their own way. All of these have their own strong niche. But you have to compare them on some relevant parameters like: Teaching pedagogy followed by the institution. If it is dependent majorly on theoretical part, then it will obviously difficult for every student, more the practical better it is. Case based and experiential learning are the best ones so far. Relevant trainings: Students tend to lose the interest in the subjects which they feel are not relevant, this spills over to other topics too. Institution has to ensure that the relevant topics are taught or the relevancy of the topics be also taught alongwith. Co-curricular activities: Competitive co-curricular activities many times act as relief for students from the monotonous routines, these must be encouraged so that students add value to themselves learning new skills. Mentor-ship: The continuous mentor-ship, buddy system are essential these days for academic and emotional fallback for students. Developing the vision: The college must work on developing the vision of the students, more clear the vision, more interest they will develop in the programme. Industry interface, interactions and visits. Internships, live projects, consultancies, entrepreneurship and community projects, technology trainings, professional enhancement, cultural diversity etc. Lastly the placements: How many companies visit, how many offer high packages, how many total students placed, how many companies offer good job profiles etc. In all these factors, LPU is miles ahead of all the other names asked I the question. Its Prowess can be seen from the fact that 650 plus companies make a beeline for LPU students and lace thousands of the students. More than 100 offer above 8 LPA, 60 above 10 LPA, 25 above 20 LPA ! Hi Ayushman, Being Education Consultant I would prefer: 1) BITS 2) VITEE 3) LPU 4) SRM 5) SNU 6) After that any other private college. But fee will be major Concern. However, I guess LPU has the nominal fee structure among all above mentioned names. Hi, B.Tech CSE is not an ordinary programme. It requires a lot and lots of infrastructure and industry input to run successfully. Since the speed of changes in technology is breakneck, the universities need to be highly dynamic in nature to adjust their curriculum as per requirements almost continuously. There is only a private university that can say that it has excelled in curriculum development, industry interface, diversity, professional enhancement, community development exposure, entrepreneurship exposure, technology training, infrastructure, and teaching pedagogy, and it is LPU. More than 700 faculty members are PhDs and Postdoctoral, and they provide exposure to students, which is unmatched. Coming to placement, the stellar record of LPU in placements is unmatched because of its efforts on curriculum development and delivery, industry interface, professional enhancement, and diversity of students, over 600 companies visit the campus for recruitment every year. None of the private universities can match LPU in any of the parameters! Recent NIRF and ATAL rankings by the Government of India are proof enough.
