Which is a better college for CSE among LPU and Jaypee, Noida?

Dear Durga Prasad, Both Jaypee Noida and LPU are good but for the CSE programme, I will share the details of LPU with you. I have also done my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries which helps students to explore themselves more in their field. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities. LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department has been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because my younger brother has already completed B.Tech CSE from Lovely Professional University and currently he is working with amazon. His experience at LPU was amazing. He has discussed placements, exposure, academics etc. Honestly speaking, the quality of education provided at any of the universities in India has been standardized by the autonomous body called University Grants Commission (UGC). It is just a matter of public opinion that sometimes condemns a university while over-hyping another. Of course, few other factors, such as the universities intake of good candidates and the output of taught, trained, and efficient candidates who get successful placements during the course of the past couple of years, matter, of course, but lets get to that a while later. In regards to the stream concentric study of Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at Lovely Professional University, it is undoubtedly a very good idea. The faculty at the CSE department of LPU is just as qualified as any of the popular universities and institutes of India that offer this discipline names I don't even need to say! It has produced perfectly efficient computer engineers in the past couple of years who have eventually landed salary packages as high as 42 LPA! Over the past couple of years, the department has seen a rise in the number of students taking admission in the stream. Due to this, the competition between students within the department has increased, and this has indirectly improved the overall performances of the batch as a whole. Without mentioning unrealistic figures, I am going to say that the students graduating from the CSE branch at LPU get placed more often than any other department from the same university. Not everyone gets placements in a core company, but they will get placed in companies functioning in various other fields. Around 550+ companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Dell, Dainkin, HCL, Bosch, Samsung are visiting campus for recruitment. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies.

Well, there is actually no comparison. CSE being a highly dynamic field needs the curriculum up gradations almost continuously, LPU is only one of the few private universities which has recognised this and developed the process of continuous feedback and consultations with industry to upgrade the syllabi in real time ! LPUs investment in intellectual capital is way beyond the comprehension, extremely qualified and talented ! With a research powerhouse of more than 100 post doctorates and 700 PHDs LPUs strength is its academic power. Coming to infrastructure, the huge 600 acre plus campus which is equipped with each and every machinery, equipment an software required in all the programs is a wonder in itself, just for an example, more than 10 companies have established the centers for excellence within the campus with their own investment to keep an eye on the abundant talent ! The central library is one massive 6 story building with lacs of books and network to produce any title anytime ! And this is in addition to many other libraries in all the departments. Industry plays important part in shaping the careers of students at LPU, from consulting for curriculum, to guest lectures, industry interface, internships, consulting projects, establishing centers, providing machinery and equipment's, software, certifications and finally immersing the students from campus. Attracting 30000 plus students, 200 international universities and more than 600 companies from all over the world to its state of the art multicultural campus year after year after year speaks volumes about LPU. Hello, I Had same question when I was seeking the place for my higher studies. I am an alumni of LPU and My real brother is also LPU passed out with CSE. From infrastructure to faculty members. From education quality to rankings and facilities in university. In everything LPU performed remarkable. The centralized system of LPU is so much strong that makes things easy to understand. The most important priorities of LPU is best quality of education and placements at great places. They follow these things and result is lot of deserved and eligible students got the best places. Even my brother also is working at MNC with very good reputed brand those who are not able to achieve anything due to their own mistakes then Grapes are sour. You understand what I mean. Moreover, LPU has Best Lifestyle and College Life. You will find lot of things to enjoy apart from the education. LPU campus is well planned and advanced in terms of facilities and technologies. LPU is good in all perspectives whether it is teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. You will find the students and staff from about 50 Countries; from Cities, Suburbs, small Towns; from every ethnic & religious background. There is strong system for attendance, education and examination. You have to follow the timetable for your classes and maintain the good percentage in attendance. Hi dear, I will raise only few points: do comparison and rest decision is all yours: 1) make sure that you are going to learn a dynamic and industry oriented curriculum. 2) make sure that you are going to get a world class infrastructure. 3) make sure that your mentors our highly qualified and experienced. 4) make sure that your institutions is having a good industry tie-ups. 5) make sure your Institute is providing you and exposure through live projects. 6) make sure that your Institute is providing you and international exposure too. 7) to get the holistic growth and inclusive growth do check that is the institute is having a diversified culture? Are they going to give you a lesson of an integrity and sovereignty along with the studies. A day on the path of making you a good citizen of the nation. Compare both on these parameters. I am not sure about jaypee but You will definitely get all of these at LPU. All the best.

Durga Prasad, Lovely Professional University has good placements, and CSE in particular has a good record. Big companies like Google, Tech Mahendra, Cognizant, Amazon, etc come for recruitment purpose. University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes.
